Charging up morning

Leaving from Bern HB and taking train to Zermatt

Arrived at Zermatt train station, first, go with Peak2Peak ticket which will allow us to go to 2 peak mount, Gronergrat and Matterhorn Glacier Paradise. If you have Swiss pass, don’t forget to apply half price discount from 136 CHF to 68 CHF, and bought some snack to eat at the peak.

Looking for luggage locker again. It just under the station

Once everything ready, we start off from matterhorn gotthard bahn

And buy the ticket

Since we arrived quite late so they recommend us to take cable car to Matterhorn Glacier Paradise first since it close earlier than Gornergrat.

And since the starting station of cable car is a bit far from the train station, so we taking a bus.

Arrived at cable car station, we tap our ticket on the gate

And start rising

When we get there, the direct cable car from Furi to Trockener Steg isn’t open so we take this route instead

Zermatt ↔ Furi ↔ Schwarzsee ↔ Furgg ↔ Trockener Steg ↔ Matterhorn Glacier Paradise

Between Trockener Steg ↔ Matterhorn Glacier Paradise, they use a unique cable car

And at the top, Matterhorn Glacier Paradise, have these stunting scenery

And up there, there is a cinema lounge showing some interesting facts

And since the day we got there, cable car between Furi ↔ Riffelberg isn’t open so we need to rode the cable car back to Zermatt and took the train, Gornergrat Bahn.

The train heading from Zermatt ↔ Findelbach ↔ Riffelalp ↔ Riffelberg ↔ Rotenboden ↔ Gornergrat. We don’t have much time left so we sit straight to Gornergrat.
